Really pretty aromas of cherry, sap, spice, sarsaparilla, white pepper, violets and under-brush. Fine and elegant in flavour. The fruit is in the red zone and there’s a lovely spicy/sappiness that sits comfortably with the fruit. The tannins are shapely and savoury and the acidity has ping. A classy, cooler climate shiraz.
